Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Rendered Posted: 27 Feb 2011 06:30 AM PST While the whole world is waiting with bated breath to catch the first glimpse of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, someone has already come up with some renderings of its roadster version. They’ve done a pretty good job given the fact that they only had some leaked photos to work on. They have got all the details spot on. Even if you haven’t seen the pictures of the Aventador yet, these renderings give you a good view of that as well. Now if you fancy this car we have to point out it won’t be due in at least three years. That is the case with every new model. First they have to sell enough coupes, only then they drop the roadster to keep things fresh. That should not be a problem for the Aventador, since it replaces the hugely successful Murcielago and is better than the Murci in almost every aspect. Lamborghini says they already have like 50 orders just from Singapore. |
Posted: 27 Feb 2011 06:19 AM PST As you know German tuner MTM releases a new Audi R8 every half an hour! Here’s the very latest based on the R8 V10, build for showing off at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. It packs 777 horsepower. Now, we thought everybody is grown out of chrome foil thing nonsense but MTM decided it’s very cool to give this R8 that treatment. Well, it isn’t! Driving around in a chrome painted car will make you look like a colossal idiot. Looks aside, this car is an engineering marvel. They managed to increase the power of that Lamborghini-derived V10 from 525 to a massive 777 hp with 888 Nm torque. That of course has a profound effect on performance. Check out these numbers: 0 – 100 in 3,0 sec, 0 – 200 in 9,37 sec, 0 – 300 in 19,42 sec, top speed 350+ km/h. The car also benefis from a coil over kit with adjustable suspensions, 20? forged rims in the Bimoto design and MTM brakes 380 x 34 mm dimpled with 8-piston calipers at the front and rear axle. Also on display at Geneva is the MTM TT RS. They have given this little fella a new urst of energy so it can now produce 472 hp. That is an awful lot in a car the size of a shoe! MTM TT RS |
