Koenigsegg, a Swedish supercar manufacturer has launched their super car Koenigsegg Agera in India today. This car can do a 0 to 100 KMPH in just 3 seconds! No doubt it costs a fortune too. The Koenigsegg Agera has been priced at Rs. 12.5 Crores Ex-showroom Delhi.

Volkswagen India has launched the much awaited and expected Volkswagen Passat 2011 new model in India today. The new Passat features the 2 Litre Diesel engine with BlueMotion Technology. The starting price of Volkswagen Passat 2011 is Rs. 20.18 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The booking will start today and deliveries will begin in April 2011. The car comes in 5 colour options including White, Black, Pearl, Brown and Silver.

New York International Auto Show 2011 starting April 2011 may bring a a New improved Suzuki Kizashi to be showcased by Suzuki Japan. The same sports sedan has been recently launch in India by the Maruti Suzuki and has been doing good in terms of sales. Although there is no information available as of now about the new improvements, but a higher capacity engine with turbocharger is expected. Toyota India is doing taking necessary measures to keep up with the growing demand of the Toyota Etios Sedan in India. Also to cater to the upcoming demand of the Toyota Etios Liva due for June 2011 launch, these steps are much needed. Toyota has announced its plans to gradually ramp up the annual production capacity of both its plants in India. The first plant which manufactures the Toyota Innova MPV , Toyota Corolla Altis sedan and Toyota Fortuner SUV will up its production by about 13% to 90000 units annually. The second plant of Toyota India which is dedicated to assembling Toyota Etios has been sharply projected for a rise of 70% increase in its annual production from earlier 70000 units to planned 120000 units per year which is a remarkable increase. All these efforts will be implemented in phased manner starting July 2011 and are meant to reduce the waiting time and boosting demand for the Etios series of Sean and hatchback which are already clocking good sales for Toyota. You can estimate the kind of demand for Etios Sedan by the fact that the Etios production facility will have 33% more capacity than all the other Toyota cars together which are produced or assembled by Toyota in India.

We have always loved Hyundai for the beautiful products it comes up with and significantly has one potent model to compete against all the leading cars, each year. The success journey started with Hyundai Santro which could still be seen and the brand's sales were probably doubled or tripled with recent additions like Hyundai i10 and Hyundai i20. But considering the sedan line-up except for Hyundai Verna no other model such as Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Elantra, brought as much content as it expected. Customers are now bored with the existing faces and the brand after figuring it, seriously wishes to give them a complete makeover and expects to create the same magic as created by the i10 and i20.
The coming April will bring a number of important launches and one of them will be of the next generation 2011 Hyundai Verna or Hyundai RB Concept. And we bet, as soon as it is unveiled it will draw all the media attention towards it for no reason other than its sheer beauty. But the most interesting news following the RB is the launch of Hyundai Elantra or 2011 Hyundai Avante and as per sources the launch would take place soon after RB hits is revealed.
The pictures do tell how impressive these new models are going to be as compared to the previous ugly monsters and more importantly they will features some of the class leading convenience and safety features. Technically it sports a 1.6 Litre MPFI Gamma Gasoline GDi, 4-Cylinder engine generating a maximum power of 138BHP and a maximum torque of 167Nm and comes coupled with a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission gearbox. With no disappointment a diesel variant would also be launched along with the petrol one. Now after hearing this great news we are as excited and optimistic as the brand itself is and we do hope these models to make the competition tougher.
