Wimmer RST is a rockstar German tuning house, obsessed with performance but not at the expense of perfection. With their thirst still unquenched after their last tuning program squeezed 580 hp out of the standard 6.3-liter V8, WIMMER is taking another pass at the 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. As a refresher, the stock naturally aspirated powerplant is rated at 451 hp with 443 lb-ft of torque - not too shabby in its own right.
This time around the company rejigged the motor with a sports camshaft, revised the cylinder heads, swapped in a custom manifold and headers, put in high flow cat converters and then tossed in a stainless steel exhaust system and in-house sports air filter for good measure. The result is a Merc that is good for 601 horsepower and 532 lb-ft of torque and a new top speed of 204 mph. The WIMMER C63 AMG is slammed on BBS CH-R alloy wheels measuring 19 x 8.5 in front and 19 x 9.5 in rear, wrapped in Dunlop tires.
